To those who are interested in SPIRITUAL DIRECTION:

Gusto tayong mas makilala ng mga Spiritual Directors, so please accomplish the personal info sheet (naka-attach) and email to bro  weyms  (weyms.sj@gmail.com)

Spiritual Direction

The object of spiritual direction is to cultivate one's ability to discern God's presence in one's life - to notice and appreciate moments of holiness, to maintain an awareness of the interconnectedness of all things, to explore ways to be open to the Blessed Holy One in challenging and difficult moments as well as in joyful ones. The director serves as a companion and witness, someone who helps you (sometimes with questions, sometimes just by listening) to discern the divine where you might have missed it and to integrate that awareness into your daily life, work, your study, your ritual practice.

A spiritual director may be especially helpful to an individual seeking to develop a deeper relationship with God:

·         when the search for God seems to be at a crossroads

·         when one wants to explore new methods of prayer

·         when prayer becomes difficult

·         when one feels the need for help in discerning the call of the Spirit

·       or when one feels the need for a companion on the spiritual journey to walk with them and to listen.

When one decides to go on spiritual direction, he makes sure that he will be fairly constant and faithful to his prayer life.  He also makes sure that he meets his spiritual director fairly regularly.  It is recommended that he meets his director at least once a month or once every three weeks depending on the availability of the directee and his director.

Dear Homies!

For that summer thing: Kamusta bakasyon?! Omg, have you seen Xmen 3?! Ay nako, I lab it! Hindi ba, ang ganda. Hehehe.. bakit wala na si night crawler? Huhu.. Also.. ang ganda ng Close to You, ngayon ko lang napanuod. Hehe.. Shyete. Hmm.. ayun. See you around, hope reg turns out okay. *wink wink for random numbers*

For that AtSCA thing: We have finished the Plan Seminar last June 5 (which is btw, Harold and I's Bday). Hehehe.. I will post our strategies here, asap. Yun lahat nung mga nasabi. Of course it's still up to us to follow and use the appropriate strategies. Daba?! I still need your say on this one:

ISSUE: When we discussed about structured area, we said that we would focus on English Grammar and Vocabulary. We also thought that the gradeschool/elementary level would be our target. But when we went to the area, it was pointed out that it is the YOUTH that needs this kind of English training. It was mentioned that there are already several organizations that focuses on kids, and there are few or none that focus on the youth. So now, we should contemplate if we should take on the YOUTH for our structured area instead of kids. So, I NEED YOU COMMENTS!!

Bilin: Sorry di ako nakakatext or tawag. It's cause BREAK NA KAMI NG PHONE KO. Hehehe.. papatay-patay kasi xa eh.. oh no.. my goodness

ALSO: SOLICITAION LETTERS!! hehe.. thanks nga pala sa mga nagbigay na. GOGOGOGO!

  4. To provide avenues for AtSCAns and for the whole Ateneo community to be aware of and to respond to social, economic, and political issues.
  5. To provide opportunities that would integrate and imbibe in the members the 3 areas of formation for their development as leaders.
